Honeypreet held in Punjab

The Haryana police arrested Dera Sacha Sauda Cheif's Guru Ram Rahim's adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan from Punjab on Tuesday. Ms. Haoneypreet wanted for her alleged role in Panchkula in the wake of Gurmeet's arrest on August 20, had been on the run ever since.

Ms. Honeypreet has been arrested on the Zirakpur-Patiala road in the Punjab by a team led by SIT in-charge Mukesh Kumar, Panchkula Commissioner of Police A Chawla told reporters She will be produced in court tomorrow. She was in as SUV was accompanied by another woman.

Gurmeet was found guilty on two counts of rape by a special. CBI court on August 25. Ms. Honeypreet accompanied the Dera Sacha Sauda Cheif as he was taken to the Sunaria Jail in Rohtak by helicopter after his conviction.
